Also, I've been playing poker for many years. So this website, is the combination of my passions - making websites, making jewelry and playing poker. I first decided to make poker jewelry when poker became a huge hit on TV and also a poker room opened up locally within 5 miles from my home. I wanted to create some unusual poker jewelry for myself and see if there was a market for poker jewelry worldwide on the Internet. The only time I wear my poker jewelry is when I go out to play at my local Daytona Beach Kennel Club Poker Room. One of the more unusual pieces of jewelry that I made and wear, is a "blinking" heart straight flush gold ring. Putting on all my poker jewelry is like "suiting up" for a war or sports event. Come to think of it, it is a battle to win or take the opponents troops, I mean chips. It's a great blend of business and pleasure for me. Although this poker room is conveniently located only 5 miles from my home and nothing compares to facing your opponents in person. But, there is a very long list of benefits to playing poker online. Playing poker on the Internet is absolutely incredible, in that, from my home, in my living room, sitting in the comfort of my lazyboy chair (recliner), with my laptop computer on my lap... I will try to list all the benefits of playing poker online with poker players from all over the entire planet. I LOVE IT. I play poker online at PokerStars.com Florida poker players got a lot happier when on July 1, 2007 the "no limit" Texas Hold'em law was passed. This law allows Florida poker players to legally play $1-2 and $2-5 limit and "no limit" Texas Hold'em for the first time. Yeee Haaa... Wax Carvings (pictured below) Just about every piece of gold jewelry that you see in any jewelry store in the world, starts out as a wax carving. Then the "lost wax casting" method is used to turn the wax into a 10, 14 or 18K piece of gold jewelry. I carved these waxes by hand using needles, files and rotory wax carving tools. The wax is the actual mold of what will be a finished piece of gold jewelry. So the idea is, whatever is carved into wax ~ will be a gold piece of jewelry. After casting, diamonds can then be set into the gold. For example, the eagle pictured here can have a diamond or ruby set in it's eye.
